Hattie’s post today is another short selection of limericks about some Labrador friends she meets in the park. Juno is a golden Lab, while Tilki and Willow are fox reds. Tilki is Willow’s mum, and Tilki’s human mum is WHITE INK’s Anna Wharton. How’s that for a literary pedigree?
The keen eyed (and eared) among you will notice that Hattie’s “Willow” hum takes a leaf from Edward Lear’s book regarding end rhyme in the first and last lines. She makes no apology for this, and neither should she.
[Mr Smith]
